Conclusions

1. The use of electric fan heaters for heating mine air is profitable because of saving: direct energy consumption (Application 2), resources for construction and reconstruction engineering systems and ÃÂÊÓ.

2. The reliability of ÃÂÊÓ working by means of electric fan heaters using. It is approved by Federal Committee for Mining and Industrial Supervision (Application 3).

3. It is necessary to use empirical formula and experience of calculation to consider the concrete ÃÂÊÓ. For example you can look through the Application 1 for ÂÊÓ ÂÑ-1. There are calorifers 15 gKl (18 mW), first calculations of planers is 14mW, than 12mW, after operation (exploitation) is 9,6 mW — these we have for first step in 2005.It should be noticed that for heating 1 m3/sec of mine air for 1°Ñ it is necessary to have electric fan heater powered 1kW.

For example:

— GVKU productivity: 200 m3/sec;
— Minimal temperature for 15 years in the GVKU region: −28°Ñ;
— predetermined temperature in stem: +2°Ñ

Conclusions

4. In designing external power-supply systems it is important to know overload capacity of main transformers for minimal temperatures when maximal burdens on calorifers present. Also it is important to look through attentively diagrams of actual and expected burdens. So, the maximal burdens on ÃÂÊÓ are never equal to main burdens of pumpings.

5. Aerodynamic resistance of electric fan heaters is below the resistance of standard water calorifers and it is important for producing increase in ÃÂÊÓ construction. (pic. 4,5)

6. The group of Russian companies appeared which is able to accomplish all complex of works starting with technical explanation to showing the object to Federal Committee for Mining and Industrial Supervision. Complex of works as follows: protection, producing special equipment supplying serial equipment, mounting, installation of turnkey electric fan heaters.
